History ING in SR

The ING Group initially established its activities in the Slovak Republic back in 1991. Since that time it has grown into a large family of companies offering a whole range of products. The Bratislava branch of ING Bank offers banking services in the field of wholesale banking, investments and private banking.

The life insurance company ING (commercial name ING Životná poisťovňa, a.s.) plays an important role in the Slovak life insurance market. In 2004, ING launched its supplementary pension insurance company (ING DDP) and it joined the 2nd pillar of pension system with ING DSS.
