Life Insurance & Pensions ING Slovak Republic has new general manager

Frans van der Ent takes up the position of General Manager Life Insurance & Pensions of ING in the Slovak Republic as of today in Bratislava.

Frans (37) received his Masters degree in Economics and Management at the University of Groningen in 1991 in the Netherland. In addition, he attended many educational programs in the field of insurance and banking throughout his professional career. At the Tilburg Institute of Advanced Studies he got a Masters degree in the field of Marketing recently.

He has been working for ING since 1991. In the last seven years he worked at different managerial positions in the field of life and pension insurance within the largest Dutch insurance company Nationale-Nederlanden. His last position was director of individual pensions within this ING company.

Frans is married and he has 3 daughters. In addition to his native Dutch, he is fluent in English and German.

In his new position Frans will report to Dick Okhuijsen, Chairman of the Management Committee and CEO ING in the CR and SR.
