Unit Linked Life Insurance - Junior

is a transparent life insurance product intended for children and young people offering the insured a high-quality accident insurance and at the same time building a special (separate) investment account. The financial risk arising from the fluctuation of yields is born by the policyholder. The policyholder can choose the way his or her deposits should be invested by choosing a so called “Fund” in which the money will be invested. Each Fund represents a predefined way of investing the deposited resources on behalf of the insured. It’s up to policyholders to decide which of the Funds available they wish to invest their resources in. There are three different financial Funds to choose from:

  • Slovak Bond Fund
  • Slovak Mixed Fund
  • ING Foreign Mixed Fund
  • Central Europe Equity Fund 
  • Global Equity Fund
  • Slovak Money Market Fund

In families where one or both parents own life insurance, this is a suitable additional product for their children meeting the following requirements: 

  • insurance coverage against consequences of child’s injury
  • beneficial saving for the child
  • optional extraordinary deposits

In case of an injury, the insured child is paid out benefits amounting to the percentage of the sum insured applicable to the type of injury in question. The client has the right to choose the accidental sum assured in the amount of SKK 300 000, SKK 400 000 or SKK 500 000. The accidental sum assured will be fixed during the policy term. In cases of health consequences of an injury the child has sustained, the insurance company shall pay out benefits as a percentage of the sum insured according to the applicable tables, part of the policy contract.
